Position Summary:
This position prepares schematic through production drawings using AutoCAD, and maintains drawing files.
Responsibilities:
Required to perform all of the following duties, but not be limited to:
• Prepare and develop construction drawings at all phases of the design process
• Work with contractors and architects to refine schedule, scope, quality and cost of the project
• Prepare and maintain a project log file
• Resolving day - to - day problems involved in the design process
• Inspect all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Daily interaction with Owner, Design Professionals, Subcontractors, Suppliers and company staff.
• Must be able to aggressively keep pace with the schedule of small to large, complex projects.
• Must maintain professional image for positive interaction with clients.
• Must have excellent organizational, communication and negotiation skills.
• Must be fully experienced with Microsoft Office.
• Self motivated with entrepreneurial spirit.
• Evaluating contractor bids and tracking costs against baseline estimate.
Requirements:
Must be detail oriented with strong communication and organizational skills. Professional appearance and demeanor
required. Handle a fast paced environment with constantly changing priorities. Must be Proactive, have strong analytical
skills, a self - started who understand the need to meet deadlines. Travel may be required.

• Applicant must have a minimum of a 2 Year Associates Degree which includes architectural/construction drafting and 3
years applicable experience.
• Thorough knowledge of AutoCAD 2006 (minimum) and a working knowledge of conventional drafting standards.
• Knowledge in the use of technology for executing work processes.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft software applications
• Basic knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software is a plus. Photoshop, InDesign, 3D Max, REVIT and/or SketchUp.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others in a project team environment.
• This is a small, but rapidly expanding boutique firm, so the applicant must possess the ability to interact with others in an
open, family oriented, creative environment.
• One who is flexible and can adapt quickly is paramount to the stream of work in this office.
