Position Title = Document Control Manager / IMS Support Tech.
Years Experience Required = 4-6 years managing Project information in an EDMS
Position Description = Performs as the hub of all pre and post published project documentation. catalogues, posts
distributes, tracks and complies hard and soft copy documents in all project stages. Works closely with engineers to ensure
coordination of status and distribution. Often liaisons between Engineering and Construction and between Expediting and
Vendors in support procurement schedules and to ensure field schedules are met. Interfaces with the Client on a regular
basis in support of contractual compliance with an eye on good client relations. Works with all other project positions in
support of overall project success.
Must Have Skills: Technical Advanced Level. Advanced understanding of MS Windows in a LAN based environment required.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and intermediate understanding of MS Access required. Ability to follow processes and
multi-task. Ability to function and flourish in a team environment. Requires objectivity of processes and demonstrable skill in
identifying process improvement where required. Ability to work with all levels of the project team to create and modify
Project Procedures, assess and communicate project Information Management labor requirements, assess, communicate and
initiate provision for the needs of all supported functions of the project. Possesses the ability to work with local and remote
Consolidated TIM Worksharing Center(s); by effectively passing, managing, reporting and following-up on the project
information workload. Ability to work closely with the Department Manager to identify, communicate, follow-through and
implement provisions for the Information Management needs of the project.
