Job Duties = Rapidly growing company in Marietta, GA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer, experienced in working with
audio systems, acoustics, with an excellent grounding in electronic circuitry (amplifiers, loudspeakers, etc.). Individual must
be a mature, self starter individual that can interface easily with management, production, and the sales department. This is
not an IT or computer development position but is a hands on, daily operational job.
Mandatory Qualifications =
PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Provide daily direct support to the production department. Provides oversight and direction on improved production
methods and serves as the quality control representative for the company.
2. Sets up standard test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental and life tests to evaluate
performance and reliability of production audio equipment.
3. Ability to operate machinery and tools related to the assembly of sound systems.
4. Verification of compliance to regulatory requirements.
5. Fully responsible for Bill of Materials for all products to include development, maintenance and accuracy of the BOMs.
6. Fully responsible for all drawings and technical specifications for audio equipment to include sketches and schematics.
7. Ability to troubleshoot electronics to component levels and complete failure analysis.
8. Documents all changes to projects/procedures (ECNs)
9. Recommends and makes changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT/R&D:
1. Possesses some R&D experience in the development of electronic circuitry and audio systems.
2. Ability to recommend and design upgrades to existing equipment.
3. Solid background and practical understanding of circuitry design and considerations.
4. While focus is on manufacturing engineering responsibilities, position does require some design capability
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. BSEE
2. 5 years practical experience (minimum)
3. Emphasis of audio equipment and acoustics
4. Solid electronic and electrical theory understanding.
5. Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
6. Ability to work in a dynamic, high paced environment.
7. IT literate (Microsoft Office, MS Project, CAD, Excel).
8. Occasional travel (less than 20 %) required.
