-          Oversee the project and program managers in their day-to-day activities to ensure proper documentation in all areas

-          Develop specific business sector by maintaining/developing contact with relevant funding agencies and sources,
developing business plans, writing proposals, and securing new business.
-          Utilizing company resource management tools, manage multiple design/development projects, with overall technical,
cost, and schedule responsibility. Coordinate work with other internal engineering groups, outside vendors, consultants, and
team members.
-          Insure proper workload planning, utilizing company resource management tools.
-          Coordinate activities with Engineering and Operations groups as required in order to meet project goals.
-          As needed, work with sales department on proposals and in other areas to develop new business.
-          Oversee the process of improving project management processes under the ISO system.
-          Other duties as assigned, including promoting employee growth and training, and representing the company at trade
shows and similar events, as appropriate.
Other special job requirements = Some travel required, both domestic and foreign.  Must be US citizen.  Must be able to
obtain security clearance, if required.

  • Coordinate qualifications of new programs, processes and equipment.
  • Supervises the installation and assembly of new equipment

  • Implements and monitors SPC and program metrics to ensure consistent process control
  • Tracks and documents processes to ensure the products can be consistently produced to meet engineering
    requirements.
  • Solves problems using technical data and statistical methods
  • Maintains tracking and reporting activities as part of the overall Engineering Skills Development Program
  • Leads the development of the Engineering skills baseline and periodic skills assessment
