Position Title = Manager, Field Engineering
Education = Required: BS Engineering; Preferred: PE, Project Management Professional (PMP), MBA
Years Experience Required = 12+ years project management experience
Position Description = Provides leadership of Field Engineering function including support of maintenance capital, major
maintenance and integrity management projects. Role includes:
- Mentors engineers through leadership, motivation, counseling, and training; performs project audits/peer reviews and
provides feedback to enhance learning and ensure compliance to standards and processes;
- Develop and maintain budgets, prepare specifications, order material, review and approve drawings, prepare and
negotiate contracts, manage and communicate forecasts and schedules, and provide direction and support for an
interdisciplinary team to successfully complete assigned maintenance capital and major maintenance projects,
reimbursable relocation projects, and encroachment projects;
- Oversight and management of third-party engineering and construction, including managing costs and negotiating
discrepancies;
- Communicate with internal and external customers to determine their requirements and meet their needs in the most
efficient and cost-effective manner;
- Provide technical expertise to solve complex problems and to support operations and construction personnel through
calculations, research, and hands-on training;
- Ensures tools and engineer techniques are consistently and uniformly adhered to. Performs value and peer reviews of
Field Engineering-led projects to ensure compliance with requirements and best practices;
- Ensures completion reports and as-builts are completed in a timely manner;
- Collect data, perform root cause analysis, develop alternatives, prepare estimates, and propose recommendations for
solutions to problems encountered in the daily operation of natural gas pipelines;
- Communicate with internal and external customers to determine their requirements and meet their needs in the most
efficient and cost-effective manner;
- Provide technical expertise to solve daily problems and to support operations and construction personnel through
calculations, research, and hands-on training;
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Required
- Strong oral/written communication, administrative/organization and analytical/problem solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of engineering design standards and applicable natural gas industry codes and regulations
including DOT Pipeline Code 49CFR191, 192, 193, ASME B31.3, B31.8, FERC 18CCFR1, OSHA, etc.
- Strong computer applications skills required including PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
- Systematic and disciplined approach to performing projects; ability to define roles and responsibilities; set high
expectations and hold others accountable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills; ability to coach, mentor and guide others.
- Ability to drive change, improve process, constantly seek to improve the organization.

Position Title = Director, Pipeline Engineering

Position Description = Provides leadership of Pipeline Engineering function supporting pipeline project management
including:
- Provides leadership to engineering and project management support personnel for the development of project plans
for Pipeline and Interconnecting Meterstation growth and expansion projects. Ability to fully develop project
opportunities and perform alternate analysis using economic thinking skills. Responsibilities include: evaluation and
recommendation of alternatives; establishment, direction and support of interdisciplinary teams; development and
execution of project plans, budgets and schedules; oversight and management of third-party engineering.
- Responsibilities include scope development, driving the safety process, assisting with FERC/regulatory filings,
managing the design process, preparation of construction bid packages, acquisition of permits and clearances, and
monitoring project controls (cost and schedule). Prepare Request for Proposals (RFP) for consulting engineering and/or
construction related services. Monitors work progress, identifying risks and creating strategies to mitigate them.
Leads contract management including negotiations of contracts and extra work claims. Provides clear and concise
senior management updates;
- Interacts with customers in the negotiation of the technical aspects of Interconnection Agreements and works directly
with customers as required to ensure cost effective and timely delivery of projects;
- Creates, supports and implements project process improvements including gaining buy-in and support of the Process
stakeholders. Ensures engineering compliance with the project process;
- Leads and develops project managers and engineers; sets expectations and ensures accountability.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Required

- Liquids handling and gas processing experience
