Position title = QA/QC Coordinator
Position Description =
  • This discipline is responsible for safely executing field inspections, documenting observations, and verifying work
    performed in compliance with specifications for construction projects.
  • Responsible for performing inspection duties at various stages of construction for code and contract specification
    compliance.
  • Works closely with contractors, vendors or engineers to verify and document proper execution of project designs.
  • Reads and understands designs, specifications and plans, and schedule milestones based on the contract for various
    construction projects.
  • Interprets design plans and verifies that the actual product being constructed conforms to the design and
    specifications.
  • Documents and verifies that design specifications are implemented in the execution of projects.
  • Collects and reviews design submittal specification data and documents acceptability.
  • Documents and reports design variances.
  • Verifies that the vendor and/or contractor is creating project as-built based on change orders, information requests,
    design clarifications and shop drawings.
  • Uses principles and theories of science and engineering to prepare solutions to technical problems.
  • Produces detailed reports, documenting that construction is adhering to the design requirements.
  • Prepares and updates various documents and spreadsheets for inspection reports.
  • Participates in meetings to discuss design requirements and any variances requested.
  • Assists with resolution of request for information (rfi).
  • Reviews initial schedules submitted and schedule values with project manager, including materials and labor utilized
    last month and verifies quantities on site.
  • Relays instructions from the owner and the design professional to the contractor.
Preferred skills: it is preferred that the candidate have experience in an industrial environment, specifically in a chemical
manufacturing plant, but refinery, power, pulp and paper, etc.  Will be considered.

Position Description = A fabricator of high performance micro tube heat exchangers is looking for a Quality Manager to work
with Engineers, establish and maintain manufacturing procedures that meet customer requirements and quality
requirements.  Their customer is a high performance racing team.
  • Must have worked and had some management responsibility in a Quality Assurance program in an industrial setting.
  • Must be capable of creating procedures, flowcharts, worksheets that will comprise the Quality Assurance program.
  • Should be a good writer.  
  • Should be  capable of defining what needs to be done, then doing it.
